Introduction - A two-story wooden colonial-style Western-style building peculiar to Hokkaido, completed in 1910, along with the Hohei-kan in Sapporo, has attracted attention as a Western-style building in the Meiji era and has been designated as an important cultural property of Japan. There is a high-color costume hall in the Public Hall, which offers cheap rental dress and hair makeup services. It is popular with tourists because you can take a commemorative photo on the balcony overlooking the hall and the harbor.
