Introduction - Mt. Tengu is 532m above sea level. It is a symbolic mountain of Otaru. From the top of the mountain, you can see the city of Otaru and Ishikari Bay. The night view is counted as one of the "three major night views of Hokkaido" and is introduced as a one-star tourist attraction by the world-famous tourist guide "Michelin Green Guide Japan". You can reach the summit in about 4 minutes using the Otaru Tenguyama Ropeway. There is also a mountain trail, which is also used by mountaineers. There are restaurants and shops on the mountaintop. There is also Tenguyama Shrine, Chipmunk Park, and a 400m slider (slide), which are popular with tourists. In winter, it is easy to go from Sapporo and is popular with many skiers as a ski resort with a view of the harbor.
