Meet your guide at the JR Nagoya Station Information Centre and depart for Magome-juku by train and bus, a journey of approximately 1.5 hours through the Japanese countryside.
Embark on a picturesque hike along the historic Nakasendō trail. This approximately 8-kilometer route takes you through mountain forests, past waterfalls, and traditional farmhouses. The well-maintained trail offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it accessible for hikers of all levels.
Arrive in the beautifully preserved post town of Tsumago-juku and enjoy lunch at your leisure. Savor local specialties such as handmade soba noodles, gohei-mochi (grilled rice cakes), and seasonal Japanese sweets in this charming traditional setting.
Visit Wakihonjin Okuya, a well-preserved Edo-period residence that once served as lodging for traveling officials and samurai. Explore the traditional architecture and learn about the history of the post town system along the Nakasendō.
Depart from Tsumago-juku by bus and train and arrive back in Nagoya, a journey of approximately 1.5 hours, to conclude your day.

Please purchase your flight tickets first. Book the tour at least 60 days in advance with a deposit of 10%. You will need a copy of your flight information to book the tour.
If you need a visa to enter Japan, please obtain it from the Japanese embassy and show us a copy when you book the tour.
The remaining balance should be paid at least 30 days prior to departure, otherwise your tour is automatically cancelled.
Please send a copy of your passport along with your contact information, phone number, address and flight information. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of return and have at least 2 blank pages available for visa application.
