Jozankei Onsen is a hot spring town located in Minami-ku, Sapporo. The hot spring town is located in a scenic location between the Toyohira and Shiroi rivers. The name comes from Miizumi Jōzan, a Shugendo priest who worked hard to develop hot springs when he entered the mountain when he heard that there was a secret hot spring where deer heal wounds in the Meiji era.
