Takino Suzuran Hillside Park is the only national park in Hokkaido. Located about 20km from the center of Sapporo city, it is a recreation area with Sapporo Art Forest and Sapporo Fureai Forest. The park is divided into four zones: a mountain stream zone, a central zone, Takino's Higashimori zone, and Takino's Nishimori zone.
